Sailing is not exclusive to racing or cruising, which is why our love of sailing is fully inclusive! In a new initiative for our 90th year, we are making clear that we are a club for all types of sailing. This initiative is intended to bridge the cap between the racers and cruisers at our club and to create a transition period for graduates of our Learn to Sail Program.

We’re famous for racing and cruising, but West River Sailing Club is also the perfect place to enjoy recreational sailing. It’s all about having fun on the water with families and friends, connecting with nature, and being part of a spirited community on the Chesapeake Bay, one of the world’s top sailing destinations.
