Information about each support boat.

How To: Support Boats
Clifford (#1)
Who can take Clifford on and off his floating dock?
There is a check out system to get approved to take Clifford on and off the boat. Do not under any circumstances move Clifford on or off his floating dock if you have not been approved. May result in upwards of 15K in damages if done incorrectly.
What is Clifford Capable of
Clifford is able to get from our outermost courses to the WRSC Wharf in under 5 minutes for emergency situations. It is capable of 40+kt boat speeds. This top speed does not happen without special tuning, which is taught during the training session on Clifford.
Vader (#3) Power Boat
VADER is super simple.
Instead of plugs, it has two canvas funnels/flaps you need to pull up before launching.
It is okay to release the flaps if you need to drain water when using the boat. Just go fast for a bit with the flaps down.
Vader's keys are not located in the key closet (protecting Vader from unauthorized use)...
There is no VHF. Bring a hand held. Most will clip into the console on the port side.
VADER likes to operate with the engine just a click up from all the way down.
