High School Replacement Fleet Donations

Support Local High School and Youth Sailing on the West River!

Celebrate and support our local high school and youth sailing programs! Join us at Stan & Joe’s Riverside on April 30th from 4–9 PM for a fun fundraising night. Enjoy dinner or a drink, mention the fundraiser, and 10% of all sales (dine-in, bar,&carryout) will go towards purchasing additional hulls and sails for the fleet. Plus, participate in our raffle! Three baskets will be available at Stan & Joe’s for entries from April 23rd to April 30th, with options for cash or online entry. Thank you for helping keep our community afloat—your support means the world to these young sailors!

Please note that this sends the funds directly to the local high school and youth programs at West River Sailing Club. We have community partners that can accept tax deductible donations as well, please ask us about this if you're interested. These community partners help us involve more kids by offering scholarships to nearly 15% of our sailors.

We appreciate every little bit that people donate to our kids. Donations support the growth, improvement, and maintenance of our fleets so that we can continue to get more young people on the water while keeping the costs for the kids and their families as low as possible.

What can it achieve?

$10 Replaces tiller universals
$50 Can buy new tillers
$100 Can refresh some running rigging
$500 Can replace a broken (or sunken) rudder
$1,100 Can buy a set of sails for one boat (Main, Jib)
$3,000 Can purchase a used boat to grow our program.
