West River Sailing Club is seeking a Chef to join our community for the 2026 (and future) seasons for our Friday Night Dinners, Regattas, and more! Gain access to a consistent clientele, a waterfront (with direct views) commercial kitchen, and a welcoming communtiy. The club itself is a community hub for sailing covering the full spectrum of the sport, from big boat cruising to high-performance one design dinghies, and an extensive Junior Fleet. One of the oldest clubs on the Bay, we were founded in 1930 through our love of sailing yet remaining a growing community, having just purchased additional property allowing us to double our boat storage capacity.
Benefits
Year round access to our commercial kitchen that you can operate your own catering or private chef business out of.
No rent or utilities to use our commercial kitchen is waterfront with direct views of the West River
WRSC takes no cut from the sale of food at WRSC. You take home all proceeds.
WRSC handles the liquor license and serves the alcohol. All you need is the appropriate licenses for food service.
The Commitment
Friday Night Dinners - May through September. Preferably a standard menu (burgers, hot dogs, something else, etc) with a weekly special. Open to other concepts too.
Regatta Dinners - typically Saturday evenings with the dinner built into the Regatta fee (fixed head count)
Rentals through out the year that request food service.
You do not need to do every Regatta or event, and can miss a Friday Night here and there, it just needs to be communicated with enough notice for the club to plan accordingly.
