FALL + SPRING UPDATES

Fall + Spring lasers

FALL + SPRING PROGRAM / OPTIS + LASERS

Started in Fall of 2021, our Fall and Spring Laser and Opti Sailing Programs are geared towards our Sailors who are looking to extend their skills into the Fall and Spring seasons. This is for sailors who have been in an Intermediate or higher summer program only. The session are on Sunday mornings from 9-12. There may even be some regattas that are possible to attend during these sessions.

Our 2024 sessions will run as follows:

Sundays (9am-12pm)

Spring: April 28th thru June 16th No practice on May 26th

Fall: September 8th thru October 27th including Halloween Howl (October 26-27th) - No practice on October 8th

 

We are encouraging boat ownership for those in this program, however WRSC optis/lasers can be rented for the sessions' duration.

No special equipment is necessary for either session. We start the program in Late April/May to avoid the need for drysuits and high costs for the young sailors.

WHEN? HOW MUCH?

Practices are on Sunday afternoons. 9-12am. See dates above.

Cost: 

  • $437.50 for Spring season or $88/day

  • $500 for each season or $100/day

  • $50 Seasonal Boat Charter Fee or $10/day

 

Remember Members get 30% off (the code is the same as summer program, located behind membership wall). Multi session discounts do not apply to the Spring and Fall programs.  Please purchase separately from summer course for easier accounting.  Thank you!

HOW TO REGISTER

Step 1. Pay through the website's system (it allows checks too)

Step 2. Complete the Medical Release Form and print it out. Bring it with you on the first day!
